A Guy's POV on Dating

Dating. A simple word that can be dangerous. Why is that you ask? Well, if you are a guy, you dont want to seem to needy or to easy. You want to try and take your time but not to long other wise you will get left. So what happened to old fashion values?

I am talking about treating a lady with respect and diginty. Do women still want that in a guy, or are they looking for someone to just be there kind of like arm candy? Lets look at things from this guys point of veiw.

To me dating is taking time to get to know each other. Take the young lady out and pay for the whole date. I know I know, "But Tyler, they should have to pay for some of it."

Nope not in my book. Be nice treat them like they are the only person in the room. Turn the cell phone off or on vibrate and listen to them and talk. Pay attetion to them, get to know them. Learn what they like, what they dont like.

"Ok, I have done that now what, shouldn't we do things I like also?"

Well, yes and no. Don't make a date going out and hunting if they don't like to go hunting. You like sports and they do, take a day trip and catch a ball game or go and play mini-golf or go bowling. "But she has a kid."

Ok, then take the child with you. Actually make plans for them also. You see if you are dating a single parent, then you are actually dating the kid also. If you have a kid or kids, then set up a play date sometime and go enjoy the time out.

Guys I guess what I am trying to say is treat the lady like she is the only one in the world, if she has kids treat them like your own.
